# Actions Overview

The Actions module brings together actions raised in other modules (for example BCP resource action plans and business objective reviews) so assignees can see everything due in one place.

Applies to: all users. You see actions in modules you have access to. Module: Actions.

## The Actions Dashboard

Select **Actions** in the left-hand menu. You cannot add an action here: actions are added on the record they belong to.

The **Action Chart Data** tab shows three charts:

- **Actions by Parent**: which module the actions come from.
- **Actions Implemented Breakdown**: implemented against not implemented.
- **Actions Due/Overdue Breakdown**: overdue against not yet due.

## Calendar

The **Assigned Action Calendar** tab shows actions on their due dates. Use **Today**, **Back** and **Next** to move between months.

## Action Lists

The grid at the bottom has four tabs: **Assigned Actions**, **Upcoming Actions**, **Overdue Actions** and **Implemented Actions**. Each row shows the status, details, assignees, due dates and the parent record (module, reference and summary). Click a row to open the action.
