# ISQM Overview

An introduction to the ISQM module, used by audit and assurance firms to record quality objectives under ISQM 1 (International Standard on Quality Management) and related standards.

Applies to: all users with an ISQM role. Module: ISQM.

## What an ISQM Objective Holds

- **Region** and **Standard** the objective falls under.
- **Component** and **Subcomponents** of the quality management system (for example Governance and leadership, or Resources > Human resources).
- **Objective Description**, **Status**, **Level of Attention** and **Owners**.
- Whether it is a **Specified Objective?**, its **Source**, and the **Firmwide Responsibility** and **Audit Service Line Responsibility**.

## The Dashboard

Select **ISQM** in the left-hand menu. Charts show the **Region**, **Component** and **Standard** breakdowns, and the **ISQM Objectives** grid lists each objective.

## Drop-Down Lists

Under ISQM in the menu, admins maintain **Status**, **Level of Attention**, **Region**, **Component** and **Subcomponents**. The **Standard** list is a multi-level list; if it is empty or you cannot add to it, contact Symbiant Support.
