Symbiant System Timeout Flow #
The Symbiant System incorporates a Timeout Flow to manage client sessions effectively. This feature ensures that inactive clients are logged out of the system, preventing idle sessions.
Default Timeout Duration #
By default, the system terminates a client session after 15 minutes of inactivity.
This aligns with the CIS Critical Security Controls guidelines.
Session Termination Process #
If a client remains inactive for the specified 15-minute period, the system initiates a forced authentication termination. Consequently, the client is forcefully logged out.
Customizing Timeouts #
For sites hosted on a Custom Domain (typically indicated by your company name in the system’s address), you have the flexibility to customise the timeout period.
In contrast, non-custom domains (e.g., app.symbiant.cloud
) adhere to the default 15-minute timeout.
Should you wish to modify the timeout duration for your custom domain, please Submit a Support Ticket for assistance.
