How to configure Dropdown Selection Options for your System Modules.
What is a Dropdown Option? #
In your System, you’ll notice when you select a Module that there are multiple items underneath,
These are called Stubs, which are comprised of Dropdowns, Sub Menu Functions and Module Options.
A dropdown is a selection of Options that you can choose when adding a Record to the System,
An example of a Dropdown in the Risk Module is Level,
Selecting a Dropdown Stub will take you to its options,
Dropdown Settings #
Inside a Dropdown area, there are three key areas,
- A list of Options with the Name of an Option on each Row,
- A Plus button which is how to add a new Option,
- Dropdown Option Settings (Such as Duplication and Delete of an Option)
How to Add a Dropdown Option? #
Navigate to a Dropdown you want to add an Option to,
Select the Plus button at the top right,
Enter the Dropdown Name, Colour and Sort Order (This is the order the Option shall appear to your users)
Once you’ve added the Details, Save at the Top Right.
When adding a New Record for the Respective Module, you will now see the Options you’ve just added.
