How to Link Records between Modules, allowing them to interact.

System Links #

Throughout the System you may notice Plus and Link icons on grids, these represent the ability to Create and Link & Link Existing records,

Many Modules have the ability to Link records between them, with most modules having additional functionality with record linking,

An example is linking Controls to a Risk, these controls will then influence the Risk,

Linking a Record #

To link an existing control to a risk, select the Link icon,

A list of existing controls will be shown,

Select the controls you wish to link, (Highlighted in blue when selected), and click the “Tick” icon,

OR click and drag controls directly onto the Risk,

You can now see your linked records,

Saving a Link #

When finished, remember to Save at the top right (1) OR Save and Edit (Saving but remaining on the same screen) (2)
