How to add Pass and Fail Override rules, if you have more than one response set to this question,
You can make one or more of the choices an automatic Pass/Fail
Quick Overview #
In the Below Example, we have three Options, a Choice (Yes/No/NA), a Text Box, and a Failure Type Dropdown
The Failure Type dropdown is ONLY visible if the Choice (Yes/No/NA) equals No
(More Information on Visibility Rules can be found at Question Option Visibility)
In our example, if Failure Type is selected as Risk Failure it will override any other Pass/Fail Criteria and Automatically Major Fail
Adding Pass/Fail Override Criteria #
Select the Response Override at the bottom of the Question,
Select New Criteria,
Select this question,
Select the option that you want to test for and cause a Major Fail to occur on,
(In this example Failure Type)
Select the value that the response must equal to Major Fail,
(In this example if Risk Failure is selected it will override and Major Fail this question)
Once applied, no matter what Pass/Fail Criteria are on each individual Option if Failure Type equals Risk Failure,
This entire Question will be marked as a Major Fail.
Saving the Override Criteria #
When finished, remember to Save at the top right (1) OR Save and Edit (Saving but remaining on the same screen) (2)
