An introduction to the ISQM module, used by audit and assurance firms to record quality objectives under ISQM 1 (International Standard on Quality Management) and related standards.

Applies to: all users with an ISQM role. Module: ISQM.

What an ISQM Objective Holds #

• Region and Standard the objective falls under.
• Component and Subcomponents of the quality management system (for example Governance and leadership, or Resources > Human resources).
• Objective Description, Status, Level of Attention and Owners.
• Whether it is a Specified Objective?, its Source, and the Firmwide Responsibility and Audit Service Line Responsibility.

The Dashboard #

Select ISQM in the left-hand menu. Charts show the Region, Component and Standard breakdowns, and the ISQM Objectives grid lists each objective.

Drop-Down Lists #

Under ISQM in the menu, admins maintain Status, Level of Attention, Region, Component and Subcomponents. The Standard list is a multi-level list; if it is empty or you cannot add to it, contact Symbiant Support.
